James created ‘The Brain People’ for one simple reason, to offer high quality NLP training at an affordable price. This has set a high benchmark within the booming field of NLP, where standards can vary. He originally worked in various management roles for several large corporate companies. His commitments to supporting people lead him to working as a ‘Clinical Hypnotherapist’ in Harley Street during his spare time. He was able to perform this advanced skill at the higest level due to receiving the highest level of hypnotherapy accreditation available.
James completed his Clinical Hypnotherapy studies at one of the UK’s most respected colleges, he even attended each course more than once over several years to fine tune his skills. His abolity developed even further through additional study with other leading Hypnotherapy training centers in the UK. It was whilst he was dealing with a wide range of clients that he became familiar with the term ‘NLP’, which led to studying the subject obsessively. He read a huge array of books on the subject in a short space of time and incorporated a wide range of NLP techniques within his hypnotherapy work.
This continued interest in altering human behaviour led him to becoming an accredited NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Trainer. He was taught and approved by NLP’s co creator Dr. John Grinder, amongst other leading figures within the field. Dr.Grinder and Dr.Bandler (the co creators of NLP) went their separate ways to develop different ideas, there are now 2 core ’schools of thought’ within NLP; the ITA (Grinder) and SNLP (Bandler).Due to the fact that James had achieved NLP Trainer status with the ITA, he then decided to train with the SNLP to gain a broader understanding; he currently holds the privilege of also being an Advanced Master Practitioner with the SNLP.
James is also qualified in Performance Coaching and therefore combines these 3 cornerstones (Coaching, NLP and Hypnosis) to help people break through barriers and achieve their personal goals. Our company founder has hand picked an exceptional training team to ensure that The Brain People’s proposition to you, our valued customer, remains first class.James continues to train, write, consult and conduct 1:1 work.
Bill is traditionally a Management Consultant, adept at analysing and interpreting complex situations, building networks, relationships and facilitating agreement. He is a strong and innovative thinker and manager, results oriented with a pioneering spirit. An accomplished and experienced international facilitator, team-builder and coach, he regularly demonstrates an ability to create a positive thinking environment and inspire people to take action and get results.
For the past 18 years Bill has consulted both nationally and internationally with organisations including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), other parts of the UN and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). He has also taken part in consulting projects in Chile, Brunei, Nigeria, Holland, Belgium and Germany. Assignments with the Red Cross have taken him to Switzerland, Spain, Malaysia and El Salvador, and he continues to work with public and private sector organisations across the UK.
Bill has been a specialist in understanding and working with teams and personal working preferences (TMS Accredited Master Trainer) since 1987, and has worked using NLP since 1988. More recently his research has been focused on building resilience and wellbeing at work, creating more choice when experiencing difficult emotions, and the continuing development of his own ‘Future-basing’ process.
Bill has a Masters Philosophy degree (MPhil) in Training Management, is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) and of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Chartered MCIPD).
Bill’s areas of special interest include, among others, NLP Training and Certification, Executive Coaching, Certification of ‘Future-basing’ Coaches and the PhotoReading Whole Mind System.Bill offers experience, talent and the ability to communicate complex structures in a simple and easy to follow way. Helen’s pragmatic, jargon-free and firm but good-humoured approach drives her passion for working with people both privately and in businesses of every size, structure and denomination. She thrives on delivering over and above the expectations of her clients and seeing them and their businesses reach unprecedented levels.
Co-Founder and Director of her own consultant and training business, Helen is also an NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner, ITA NLP Trainer and approved ITA New Code Trainer. We are delighed to have our second ITA New Code Trainer join the team, as you understand more about NLP you will realise this can only enhance our high quality proposition to you, our valued customer.Highly amiable and challenging, Helen has enjoyed a career as an experienced and dynamic sales professional for over 14 years specialising in the challenging financial services sector. Helen states that she took an entrepreneurial approach to her roles which always enabled her to make head-way fast; delivering superior customer service and gaining extremely high results in such a competitive field.
Helen is conscientious, results-focused, individualistic and enthusiastic. Self-taught fluent in French and holding a Euro Qualification in European Business Studies, she lived in the South of France for a number of years and may well move back there one day! She is extremely creative and dynamic by nature and injects sound personal skills into the worlds of business, coaching and change work - enabling others to accomplish their personal and corporate goals.
Helen is also qualified in Ericksonian Hypnosis (indirect suggestion within specific language patterns) and often relies on her NLP, New Code NLP and Hypnosis when helping people change, inside and outside of the business environment. Helen realises that the training course is only the first step, the true learning begins when students leave the course, she holds a strong interest in her student’s progress, and can often be found supporting their development in her own time.
We are delighted to have Helen join our team, even though she felt the recruitment process was slightly on the demanding side for someone who has already proved themselves within this industry (we told you James was pretty strict about who represents our brand!)
For over a decade, Nick has worked successfully as a Consultant, Business Manager and Trainer with both brand leaders and niche consultancies specialising in sales, communications and operations management. He originally worked in London for Europe’s largest IT Provider, competing against ten thousand other IT consultancies before being selected to work for a niche search firm in Piccadilly which led him to being personally responsible for a team of Telco specialists. Clients include American Express, CGNU, Visa and Ericsson subsidiaries. Highly experienced in both contract and permanent recruitment he understands what makes someone reach their ‘maximum potential’ and how to support them on their personal journey in achieving greatness.
Nick’s personal drive led him to creating his own security recruitment business, entirely from scratch.Over a 3 year period, the business grew into THE market leader for security recruitment solutions, adopting the principles of faster paced recruitment environments, adamant that speed and quality of service coupled with exceptional relationship management skills gets results. Nick’s previous clients include Securicor, Marks and Spencer and International SOS; a truly fantastic achievement by anyone’s standards. His involvement with transforming average to exceptional performance led him to the door of NLP. Nick learnt a huge amount from books and DVDs and he used various NLP techniques at work for many years until deciding to take the plunge and gain official accreditation.
Nick’s studies were all self funded and he is now a fully certified ITA NLP Trainer, he now runs his own successful training and consultancy firm, a prerequisite for joining The Brain People’s training delivery team. He constantly combines NLP with recruitment consultancy and people management, it proves a highly successful recipe. The ability to choose the right ’state’ for the right context coupled with heightened levels of communication skills equals fantastic results. Nick feels that ‘The Brain People’ will not only represent a diverse range of talented NLP trainers, but also a range of experts within various psychological and management techniques that can be blended to create magical recipes. We agree, and his drive and ambition will only compliment our aim, which is to remain the UK’s leading NLP training provider.
Hiran’s desire to learn additional psychological approaches that could be used in the business environment lead him to becoming qualifie in many useful fields within applied psychology.
Hiran is an established NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and ITA NLP Trainer.He is also qualified as a ‘Firo’ Practitioner (something he will quite happily explain to anyone who enquires) and he is also a highly competent Hypnotherapist. His high level business expertise combined with a number of psychological tools gives Hiran the rare ability of taking complex theoretical models and making them practically useful, in order to increase performance. But best of all, Hiran is a genuinely friendly person; people really do enjoy learning from him. Not only does he possess an extreme wealth of knowledge in the field of NLP but he will quite happily share it all day long until either the sun sets or someone drags him away!
He has been heavily involved in NLP for a number of years and utilises it’s power within his own training and consultancy firm.Hiran also supports some of the biggest names in NLP, which he finds a great honour. Hiran truly practices what he preaches, he incorporates NLP into his own personal life, this is reflected in his extensive NLP modelling project which has been based around another one of his life long passions… music. He signed his first record label at the age of 18 and continues to write music for his own band, who are on the brink of becoming a household name (maintaining rapport with over 10,000 live on stage proves useful when delivering a training course to 35 people!)
